World Masters Day One Discussion
World Masters Day One Discussion
All floor matches today up to and including the Last 40.
http://www.bdodarts.com/uploads/news/0/ ... 20Mens.pdf
The winner of each "group" will get a TV match tomorrow night. Group 1 winner plays Group 2 winner, and so on. Will try and confirm the order of seeding as the BDO have a habit of putting the lowest seed at the top of the draw rather than the highest seed.
Not too many standout 1st Round matches however Hankey/Cox is perhaps the pick of the bunch. Dekker may meet Lewis or Bunting in the Last 72, Atkins/Meulenkamp, Harms/Wagner, Kellett/R Smith and Prins/Van der Wiel are other potential Last 72 matches.
Ladies - http://www.bdodarts.com/uploads/news/0/ ... Ladies.pdf - all the seeded ladies get a first round bye.

The recent hurricane that hit the East coast of the USA has caused the withdrawal of two of the USA contingent. Its unfortunate as they have been in good form.

That's a shame Lawrence, but do you really think they had a chance against the superior UK players?LawrenceGallagher wrote:The recent hurricane that hit the East coast of the USA has caused the withdrawal of two of the USA contingent. Its unfortunate as they have been in good form.

Re: World Masters Day One Discussion
I think they would have liked a chance to give it a go. Actually I think one of them (Tom Curtain) had a really good chance to win his board (1).Paddy McGinty wrote:That's a shame Lawrence, but do you really think they had a chance against the superior UK players?LawrenceGallagher wrote:The recent hurricane that hit the East coast of the USA has caused the withdrawal of two of the USA contingent. Re: World Masters Day One Discussion
To be honest Larry, I love all the international players taking part, it's a big attraction for me, stops the circuit from getting stagnant, it's a shame they couldn't make it.LawrenceGallagher wrote:I think they would have liked a chance to give it a go.
