Some very interesting matches here
My double would be Richie to beat James wade and Brendan Dolan to beat Andy Hamilton.

Who do you fancy as an outsider
Re: World Matchplay Betting
If Burnett starts off well and doesn't lose his rag with himself then he could run wade very close or better. No disrespect to Dolan but cannot see him beating Hamilton, that for me would be a major upset(grand prix finalist or not).
Walsh to beat osborne at 5/6 would be my shout or possibly white to beat van der voort 5/4.

I said in another thread, but I fancy Barneveld each way for this. Nice draw, good form and he's just waiting for it to all come good at a tournament.
Taylor hasn't prepared again, I don't think, just like at the UK Open, so not sure he will win his 5th in a row.

No chance. His form is nowhere and he's had a problem with his shoulder (I think it is?). The Pie Man will probbaly do him. Barney certainly would.

Got to agree... Nicholson doesn't stand a chance. Huybregts at 40/1 looks a lot better to me.and the Iron Fist wrote:Chunksoutofthewalls wrote:I fancy Nicholson as an outsider 80/1 got to be worth a fiver!

Whitlock, Chisnall and Newton are priced too sharp for me.
