Exactly, it happened last time it was tried, this is even worse though, superleague doesn't start till September so you'll potentially get folks who played last season entering it.
Also plenty of players that don't bother with superleague that easily could can just raid this comp.
Trina doesn't play superleague, that would be fun if the greatest ever female player wins it lol.

Also I have a real problem with it being called an "open competition", it isn't open at all, you need to get that changed or I might just show up and insist on playing as it clearly states it's open.
While I'm moaning Dennis why the hell have you decided to run a comp that explicitly excludes the biggest supporters of your comps?
Without me, Fulwell, Jones, frosty, hilton etc you wouldn't have any bloody comps on at rileys because they would have folded years ago!!!!

It makes no sense anyway, there is no such thing as a PDC affiliated member, there are pdc players and pdpa members and associate members but never a PDC affiliated player so it's technically open to all bar superleague players

maybe dpa players as the dpa is affiliated to the pdc.

I'm fairly sure Ted hankey doesn't play superleague, does that mean a two time world champion can enter this pub players comp?

It is a bit of a silly rule, some local leagues try to impose the same criteria and all they succeed in doing is diluting the league.

I've played in one of these in Stirchley before. Being a typical pub player it was enjoyable to play in knowing that I had a chance of doing ok. Made it to quarters and got beat by someone who had played Superleague before. He lost in the final if I remember rightly.
