Yes it is. I have just been sent a screenshot of the contract and the words "working days" appear nowhere in the relevant section. Nice try.
Payment is technically due by about 10pm tomorrow night.

Bank transfers on a Sunday?
This isn't going to happen is it? They may not even have enough to pay the reduced amounts.
Here we go again...... Oh, D,es, you rank incompetent.

Is this from the same contract that was nullified before the tournament due to lack of funds? Or did they draw up new terms?
Just wondering how credible the payment terms are given the prize money component was BS.
Either way, taking the maximum amount of time is poor form.

Dutch Open monies all received so still a poor show by the BDO really.. Seeing the fund was so reduced it would have been good to do it a bit quicker but obviously not..
Do we know for definite that they havent been paid yet? Genuine question.
According to players partners on Fanatics they haven't yet been received so I assume not..
But the 28 days is up this weekend so Monday should be the day finally... I'm sure we will hear one way or the other

Technically today is the 28th day AFTER it finished.
So anything after today is late payment.
Yet no-one is remotely surprised at more Jacklin incompetence.
Or worse, it's deliberate non payment because they don't even have the much reduced prize fund.

Is the correct answer.
Also so should the TV people from the WDT.
And yet still they wait.....

It should have been paid.. The contract said up to 28 days not it will be 28.. Seeing the 28th day fell on a weekend then the payments should really have been in on Friday at the latest but I would fully expect them in tomorrow...if not its a clear breach of contract and that would mean Des's statement last week was bullshit.
The Dutch Open was way after the Indigo and players have received that money.. You would think that considering the BDO payout was so reduced and all the negative publicity since then they may have paid it out before the 28 day cut off to be honest

My understanding is nothing new was sent out. Ross has clearly misconstrued "days" as "working days"
