If they have the money they will pay today (maybe to arrive in players bank accounts tomorrow). They simply have to. To choose to not pay today/tomorrow would be such a crazy decision that I actually believe even Des is not that stupid.

well indeed, number 1 is a distinct possibility, hence I said 'if'.
I don't think Des is that stupid but he might think he will have enough money in a week or two and so will either claim he meant working days or, as you say, pretend that he has a sponsor about to pay him some money.... which surely no one will belive.

Spent yesterday afternoon with this man Wayne Warren (a nicer man you could not meet) and guess what he still has not had the paltry £23k prize money from the BDO and today is the last day for them to pay up so I’m urging all the dart players fans and managers be they BDO or PDC to contact the BDO via Facebook Twitter or what ever means to try and push these clowns into doing the right thing"

Across the two groups theres probably up to 15,000 members...... Most aren't "fanatics" in the same way that almost all members on here are not "stars of darts". Its a name. They just want to read the latest info and gossip like you do.

Out of those that are BDO die hards, some offer blinkered support but some dont and call it as they see it.

Maybe Des locked out the internet banking by forgetting to tell the bank he was making a load of large payments today (stop laughing at the back, there!)....wasnt paying the money out a function usually carried out by Potter/Lakeside?
