Decent amateur champ, that’s all.

God rest Alf Garnett and Prince Phil.

And the agenda becomes transparent as he desperately seeks validation from the one person who agrees with him.
You stated Durrant was in the top 8.

Who are the other 7 players ?
Why are you deflecting and avoiding answering this ?
Is it because you know it was a retarded claim to make ?

I showed you a list of 8 players that won ranking tv majors.
Every single one of them is better than Durrant.
and I can name even more players better than him
To be fair, the pre-mod bullshit does you a disservice, because I miss half your posts.

I was speaking specifically about the twelve months between July 2019-July 2020. Anything which happened before or after that time period is completely irrelevant to my point. Three of those eight players you list didn't win their major in that time period, and as Dimitri didn't do anything else I'd still say Durrant had the better twelve months. So we can dismiss all of them immediately.

Obviously he's behind MVG, Price, Cross and Wright for that spell. I'd also have fatty Smith above him (a final, two semis and a quarter). Aspinall only has a solitary semi-final, so he's behind Durrant as is everyone else I mentioned in the initial post. So I make him sixth for those twelve months, purely on results. You can argue that you'd fancy someone like Aspinall or Wade to beat him in a one-off game over that time period, but you can't tell me that one quarter-final is a better return than four semis and a quarter.

Durrant's real failure isn't pretending that losing in semi-finals is rubbish, it's the inability to repeat the trick. If he has the exact same year again, then he gets into the top eight of the Order of Merit. Hence, by definition that has to be a top ten year.

The fact you think not only durrant, but Bellyboy as well would be ranked above Wade shows how retarded a statement that is.
You have 2 players than never won a ranking major in their entire careers in the pdc between them and you would have them above Wade ?
You even put Smith above Aspinall who won a proper major.

Go back and check where Wade was in the one year order of merit in that time frame.
As for those "results" Durrant got, you mean how how he shat himself in every semi final that mattered. That's your idea of a top player ?
Then you did call Smith one so that hardly surprises me.

You see, this is we differ you and I . For me a top player is a player that actually wins ranking majors, that is why they are called top players.
Smith, Chizzy, White, Durrant, all make quarter final, semi finals, some of them even make finals, but ultimately they all lose when it matters in ranking tv events....that is a genuine fact.

Durrant is over 2 years in the PDC, and he failed to make the top 10 despite idiots like Mardle Dawson etc telling us he would. It was obvious to me over 2 years ago he never would make it in to the top ten, and told ye all so, but ye would not listen. Ye did not listen when I said the same about Bunting, and was proven right on that too. Eventually people will come to realize bob Potter Cups are meaningless and have no bearing on what happens in the PDC. Their bdo reputation is not worth a flying fuck

To put things in to prospective: Durrants highest ranking in over 2 years in the PDC is 13th
In the last 14 years, Wade has never been as low as that.
Durrant has won a total of ZERO ranking Majors, Wade has won 6 ( Matchplay, 2 grand Prix, 3 Uk Open)
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time
