Did they stop playing best of 15 legs for that one?

Actually, sod that. Here you go, mate.

Red were the quarters, orange the semis, blue the final.

Sherrock addresses the keyboard warriors.
"I've always said it I'm not as good on the floor as what I am on stage and for some reason, I don't know why when I get up on stage, I'm actually a better player than I am on the floor."

That 71 average sure showed the nay-sayers what she's all about. Including her in every WS event is a huge potential embarrassment for her and the PDC.

the take away here is rod harrinhgton should be nowhere near a comms microphone, yes he might still have his shares in the pdc, but surely that doesnt make you a shoe in for the expert opinion position,

The other takeaway is the outstanding ability of Michael Smith to play well when it doesn't matter much.
But he will be very happy to win another £20,000.

Just logged on.
Just watched the final, and semi's, on sky 220 (itv4 +1).
Smith just been interviewed.
Didn't know the results. Smith enjoyed winning that.

Pity the boring tables chant has spread to the USA.

It's like some of the football chanting in MLS. They copy chants from English football and it mostly doesn't fit.

But it seemed like a decent atmosphere and I think it was a good idea to move it from LV to the East Coast. Doesn't have to be New York City, but that has the benefit of being so easy to fly there.

Seems a real happy-go-lucky Dutchman, like van der Voort.

There's cornhole (the game he referred to) on TV (and yes I've watched it) because they have sponsors paying for production so they can hand it free to TV channels. But no, there's not a lot of it.

If US darts were able to do the same thing they might get more darts on TV.

Darts just isn't that popular, but of course it can grow. In the UK darts was a participation game, which became a TV game. But in other countries it become more popular because people saw it on TV. Nothing special about the USA in that regard.

The good thing about playing after seeing it on TV is that players are more likely to set their standards high.

To be honest I think he has it spot on with the US. Not like they haven't shown darts there before.

Pdc darts gets highly popular in countries that like binge drinking and lad culture. The yanks aren't anywhere near Western European levels in that regard.
