Des is currently in a meeting with Kerry Packer, Montgomery C Burns and Grantham Fencing thrashing out a new sponsorship package which will see 48 televised tournaments a year at top venues around the world with County darts as the centrepiece of this brand new dawn. ITV Digital are very interested in televising and Oracle will have live score updates via the teletext button. Future prize funds will quadruple. And anyone who suggests anything in the BDO garden is anything but rosy is a hater, a troll, a keyboard warrior or non-ticket buying scum.

To be fair it's a shameful episode whenever they pay out now.. To be overdue without any comments on such a reduced prize fund is pretty shameful even if paid tonight or tomorrow.

Paula has a sense of entitlement ever since Des took over and she became the self crowned Queen of the BDO.... No conflict of interests there at all..

Cheques? Oh come on now. Nothing stopping them doing bank transfers if the money is there.

I remember the old days when I used to write cheques in the shops for things when I had no money a few days before pay day.. Don't think I've seen a cheque for about 7 years !!.... anyway the contract says Bank Transfer.. Imagine sending cheques to USA and Canada and Australia, Romania etc... No way will it be cheque payments..

Still, we don't know if this is now true. Unlike others on here who hate anyone who plays in the BDO I hope the players get paid.

Why would the fanboys be so interested in a organisation they claim to hate? Shouldn't they be in the Premier League thread instead? Let's face it Dave Owens, BlueSpark, and West Riding's best sprinter have little interest in the BDO other than to troll and abuse it.

The players are right to complain but the hatred in this thread is sad.

But the contract doesn't specify which planet's days, my guess is 28 venus days.
