European Tour 2019
Re: European Tour 2019
Bunting averaged _77.2_ in his loss to Pipe.
Re: European Tour 2019
I remember seeing William Borland play BDO. He's 22. He's doing _OK_ on the Challenge Tour.
Of the UK & Ireland, Commonwealth players 17-32 in the OOM:
Qualified:
King
Beaton
DNQ:
Bunting
West
Henderson
Anderson
Norris
Wilson
Lewis
UK & Ireland, Commonwealth Players 33-48:
Qualified:
Pipe
DNQ:
Aspinall
Dobey
Lennon
Brown
North
Thornton
Dolan
O'Connor
That's 3 out of _18_.
49-64:
Qualified:
Payne
DNQ
Evans
Searle
Joyce
Richardson
Humphries
Webster
Peterson
Mansell
So, 4 out of 27 of the players ranked 17-64 qualified.
Given that's it's 1 out of 8 from each board qualifies, that's a bit of a shocker.

Re: European Tour 2019
but I thought he was a lakeside winner, only 2 players in the world better, and a certainty for a top 16 spot in the pdc at a minimum.
Seems my predictions about bunting were right back then as they are now and that he was vastly over rated.

Re: European Tour 2019
Ricky Evans vs Justin Pipe in the 2nd qualifier.
Re: European Tour 2019
Oh my God. Hamilton is throwing all over the place. 4-1 down, averaging 59, against the Yo-Yo, Terry Temple.
Hamilton quit.
Hamilton quit.
Re: European Tour 2019
Well, Durrant through. Started 180, 134, 137, then missed 8 darts at the double, but won the leg, and then despite inconsistent scoring won easily, helped by good finishing. Even won with a 150 finish.

Re: European Tour 2019
Beaton with 2 out of 2 in the qualifiers. Quite efficient.
Re: European Tour 2019
And 3-5 against Mansell. Patchy play in this 2nd qualifier.
And lost 5-6. Feast and famine even within legs.

Re: European Tour 2019
All over the place. 4-2 down played well on Mansell's darts to break, then badly to lose throw, then broke again, then bad and good finish to hold, the. Bad again, but suddenly a 180 to leave 142 with Mansell on 62.
Looks like 2nd qualifier has a few more of higher-ranked players getting through.
King and Beaton through to both.
