Have to say Manchester City were hugely disappointing.

Don't get why Pep having been such an attacking coach, sets up in such a big game without a single striker.

Can you imagine him leaving Messi, Henry and Eto'o on the bench.

They pissed the league without a striker.

The mistake was leaving Fernandinho out. They basically played with 8 attacking players.

Edit- have just seen your comment on the other thread sorry.

In other news, Chelski fans are now attempting to ruin a great day in the club's history by acting like colossal twats.

I remember chelsea being lucky if they could get 10 thousand fans at a home game in the 80s.

i was at stamford bridge in the mid 80s with when west ham beat them 4-0 , it was i believe their biggest gate of the season and would only top 10k if it was a london derby.
The ground seemed empty, with cars parked behind the goal.

always remember george parris scoring and the chelsea fans pissing off.
QPR was a bigger club than chelsea in those days ...until as you say the russian criminal took over and they bought their way to the top

An inevitable consequence of the growing popularity of the game.

At least the current Chelsea fan base aren't racially abusing their own black players, as they did in the 70s and 80s.

What I liked about football in the good ol days was that no club was richer than any other clubs. It was a total level playing field.

and you could get in to watch the game for less than a hundred quid,.

I stopped going to games when the match tickets were costing me more than the flights from another country,
