Would need more than £80 for me to be cheering the Poms.

80 is a lot of money to someone with no income at the moment.

had a choice stay home and watch the game or go to the pub and miss it since only outdoor drinking allowed.

pub wins

Suppose the pubs there won’t be as full of cunts.

Though that number will increase by one on your arrival :)

was out last night, and was only the regulars and it only dawned on me how many English people live here.
" of them told me they had no interest in the game.
No outdoor tvs or monitors here, maybe if it were Ireland they be set up.

I want England to win for the average English fan, but the flip side is these "its coming home" a$$holes and I despise the uk media.

But dislike the cheating italians even more. England winning is to me the lesser of 2 evils, but taxi called as pints are more preferable. Suspect the radio will be on and those with mobile phones who are interested will be keeping up to date.

England had every advantage in this, 6 of their 7 games at home, if they dont win this now, they probably never will in my lifetime.
