MAD Becomes ADC
Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC) will launch on January 1, 2022, replacing Modern Amateur Darts (MAD). ADC will initially launch in five territories (UK, Benelux, United States, Oceania and Europe).
Steve Brown, the founder of the JDC and MAD, will be joined by promoter Scott Hunt in the day-to-day running of the ADC. Vincent van der Voort takes up the role of head of operations for Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg).
Brown: "We went into MAD with the best of intentions, with everything that's happening during the pandemic, the world is in a different place to how it was then. There were a lot of positives to come out of MAD and we can take those, along with the lessons we learned, into ADC, We see the ADC, sitting between the JDC and PDC, as a perfect stepping stone from the junior game to the professional circuit. We also took into consideration any negative connotations people may have drawn between the previous name and people's mental health struggles."

Great to see it is going to move forward though.
Re: MAD Becomes ADC
Will they still be going down the "cash games in front of 50 people in a rugby club function room" route?

Re: MAD Becomes ADC
Isn’t that called the European Tour?
Re: MAD Becomes ADC
Genuine question though: presumably Jarred Cole paid a fair few hundred quid, maybe even 4 figures, to play Warren. If those type of matches are now over, has he paid that money for absolutely fuck all? My understanding was he would only start earning from defending the "title".

Re: MAD Becomes ADC
they can change their name all they want but they will remain a joke as long as you have simpletons on the board like Paul Nicholson who was responsible for stupid westling style belts.
If you have idiots running an org, you get idiotic decisions.....its not a difficult concept to grasp

Very smart to hook on to the Jackson's song.oche balboa wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 1:13 pm Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC) will launch on January 1, 2022, replacing Modern Amateur Darts (MAD). ADC will initially launch in five territories (UK, Benelux, United States, Oceania and Europe).
