Still see players like Matt Edgar advocating for first round Players Championship event losers to get prize money. Think it's only a matter of time to be honest.

If there's one thing the PDC needs, it's more money for journeymen.

Just not enough of them have tour cards at the moment.

Just looking at who's entered the Dutch Open or Romanian weekend to see who may not be bothering with Q-School in a couple of weeks. So far, Ron Meulenkamp, Michael Unterbuchner, Wesley Harms and Beau Greaves have entered one or more. Slightly surprised about Meulenkamp, but the others are not unexpected.

When are these events? Ron Meulenkamp is automatically into the '2nd stage' of Q School, so may be able to play both. Would be shocked if he doesn't go to Q School

He's entered the Dutch Open, January 27 - 29. Will he technically have a tourcard then even if he qualifies at Q-School? Not sure if it starts from the end of Q-School or from the the first event of the season. Of course, he could just be hedging his bets, as registration for Dutch Open closes on January 8th.

If I recall correctly in 2019 a number of the new Dutch Tour Card holders had signed up for Dutch Open but weren't allowed to play, although John MIchael was allowed to play in the Romanian Open.

So, probably just hedging.

Usually even if he had a tourcard they are allowed to play in the Dutch Open

In the doubles, not the singles events.

Re Beau Greaves, or anyone else who played during the World Championship, in years gone by, I believe you needed to be a full member of the PDPA to be able to play, which obviously would've DSQ you from WDF events.

Only tour card holders I thought? That's the rule that the WDF have had for a while.
