Is Avalon still around?

Quick question or two (and I seriously dont know the answers). What type of station is this that the darts are on? Is it normal to have 15 minute news at the top of each hour in primetime, or is it just a feature of this station? And the games being missed whilst the news is on, are those the ladies/youth matches?

Its a regional station, just shows items from around its own area, no national news etc. I am not sure if its normal for it to be on once an hour or not as usually I am there watching it live. Judging by something they put up earlier it looks like the ladies will miss out today although it really depends on how the games run. I am going to be seriously peed off if I cant watch Irina play tomorrow. I might have to get someone to take her phone and show me it on skype

Well they have just come back after the news and Waites was 3-1 up. Honestly, Sky can do no wrong in comparison

I think I remember reading last year that it's a local channel, so equivalent to the early WDC tournaments on Anglia and Tyne Tees.
