I have got to say that this must be the most boring and least exciting darts tournament that I know. Horrible format, horrible atmosphere and no prestige... just plain awful and its misery throughout.

I can only hope they cancel this.

A short sighted view, just don't watch it if you don't like it. No reason a well paying tournament for the players should be cancelled on that basis.

Awful, misery.....but also some of the best darts ever seen.
Some "purists" (me) like it.
But why should they cancel it? Its a great earner for the players and the bookies like it as well.
And you can qualify for the Slam.

If you dont like it just dont watch it.

And it's quite possibly the best way for prospective PDC players to see what top-end standard they'll have to expect on the Pro Tour.

Besides, I suspect a regular Pro Tour event would also come across as "horrible atmosphere" if it was filmed throughout the day. It is what it is, and that's not a flashy TV-style tournament.
