yes
Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
Insane move, surely he must have realised the growth for darts is with the PDC, also in Holland...
Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
On the upside, just two more top 64 resignations and Devon Petersen will have a tour card by right...
Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
Apparently Co has "had enough of the behavior of some PDC people" and he "feels more at home at the BDO."

Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
Co has always been a darling of the bdo and stayed at wolfies house every lakeside.. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if he was - nope I.m a mod and must set an example.

A legend in the game for both organisations.trotter wrote:I've heard of Co Stompe.....did he used to be a darts player at some time ?...the name seems familiar.....
It's also nice to see another bespectacled player in the BDO system.
Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
I hope Stompé makes it to TV in the BDO, just so Tony Green can wonder aloud what he's been up to these last six years.trotter wrote:I've heard of Co Stompe.....did he used to be a darts player at some time ?...the name seems familiar.....
Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
Co has been the first to admit he has been 'off par' the last few seasons.
But he has intentions were to work hard to get back.
Remember a few good comments when this was posted recently.
Very surprised by this but maybe what is right for him at this time.

Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
my favourite player...gutted he has went off the scene in the PDC but hopefully he'll regain some form with the BDO
not that i'll be able to watch any of it as i'm not aware of the BDO showing anything other than the worlds?!

Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
There will be another one switching back to the BDO, confirmed by Co himself on darts.nu (dutch forum)
Re: Co Stompe returns to the BDO
I think those people talking about how Co is playing are missing the point. Also, those saying he is finished - have a word, this aint boxing! I predicted years ago there would be a trickle of players going back to the BDO because the PDC simply can't cater for everyone. The challenge tour might attract youngsters but not guys like Eccles and Co who have been there, seen it and done it. This is good news for the BDO - he is a high profile name in darts, someone the darts public knows and loves and it's perfectly possible he could rediscover the kind of form which won him the German Championship? in which he beat Taylor with a monster average. Good luck to him. I am certain there will be more.

He leaves the announcement up to the player himself. But if it's Ted, why would he subscribe for q-scool? To fool us?

No, not to fool us, but to insure himself and to keep his options open.qwerty wrote:He leaves the announcement up to the player himself. But if it's Ted, why would he subscribe for q-scool? To fool us?
