Kicks off Friday evening no doubt will be lots of talk of who is switching etc.
last year the BDOE guys were in attendance with WDT contracts, will be intersting to see if we get a repeat performance.
no doubt will be talk if the associate members position etc.
look forward to this event and for the first time are going over a day earlier on the thursday, straigyt shoot out for WDF no1 spot between alan norris and scott mitchell i think if alan gets out of group stage he will be no1.Scott willbhavevto win event.

Never mind the rights and wrongs of awarding this event points I wonder WHY they do? It's not like players won't travel if there were no points!

The organisers and some of the players will argue that anybody can qualify for it through the right events and you don't get points just for turning up...that's why they continue to allocate them I would say..that and the fact they continue to call it a BDO major despite the prize money not rising by a penny since Barney won the first one about 15 years ago !
You are right about the players though...I think they would still support it even with no points on offer as they are looked after extremely well

Alan averaged 112 on last year's Zuiderduin or was it the year before? I think he's red hot favourite for the title, but you never really know what wolf turns up of course....

Wolfie will do well to get out of his group! In fact I think the winner of Pool H will win the tournament, whichever of the three does it.

All the best to all those involved. Always enjoy following this event; I like the format, as you're constantly under pressure.
The prize money is piss poor though.

How can this be a reflection of the BDO when the World Number 6 has not been invited

If you are going to be like that - then its 'Glen' not 'Glenn'

If you are going to be left that - then its 'Glen' not 'Glenn'

If you are going to pick up wrong spellings then it is perhaps best you do not do that.
