So what you're saying is that no time in the next 30 years, with unbelievable dedication can Shepherd get back in the top 32?
Re: kirk shepherd
he still does post here, as for being Jammy well you can only beat what is put in front of you, by that criteria is James Wade Jammy for winning TV tournaments when Taylor has been knocked out?Justin Credible wrote:no doubt my dislike for him will not be tolerated since he (use to) frequent the place.
As for jammy, well in my opinion along with phil nixon in the bdo , possibly the worst finalists ever.
although fair play to nixon for not giving up
I think it was Gary Player when he was called lucky who said "its strange but the more I practice the luckier I get"
And for the record I'd be happy be the jammiest world finalist ever

Great lad who beat 4 players who were in the worlds top 10 at the time.
Aside from beating Taylor I don't think he could have done much else.
The key leg I always remember was against Manley - big game on the line and I think he chucked an 11 or 12 darter to clinch it.
I'm not suggesting he should be universally loved, but not sure why anyone would 'dislike' him?
Just my take on things.
Thats 21 posts on darts now.

kirk was lucky in a couple of rounds, the mick mc gowan game in particular.
did laugh when he hurt his foot on tv celebrating like an idiot.

Their match at the 2010 Worlds. I remember the sycophantic thread on SoD where everyone queued up to say he had done nothing wrong on the stage, where it could be argued he had.Paulie Walnuts wrote:Care to elaborate? I really can't remember what happened, apart from Kirk being pretty pumped up.

Re: kirk shepherd
No bad blood between the 2 at all. I know that they have even shared a room since the world final and socialise together. Which goes to show you the crap that can sometimes be posted on forums.Paulie Walnuts wrote:Care to elaborate? Having met Kirk on plenty of occasions I think he's a pretty decent chap. Hopefully he can re capture some form

Fair enough, I ain't swaying either way. I just remember it generated a lot of hatred/support on SoD (I didn't participate as my main account was banned at the time, probably for saying boo to Ted Hankey or something equally as inane) so hatred of him may stem from what people perceived happened in that match.
