Here's what the race for Top 32 for Ally Pally looks like right now (***still unconfirmed what qualification criteria are***), with money added for provisional qualifiers to TV events. This shows who of the players in with a chance are currently in which events.

Justin Pipe has dropped out of the provisional Ally Pally seeds, and his spot in the World Championship is anything but secure.

I dont get why people say that the PDC TV events are predictable - Look at the top three seeds - None of them handle pressure well in TV majors - Gurney isnt that good - Anderson and RVB getting on - Smith is a bit too in and out - I love Simon - But he will probably caught out by an outsider there is a lot of depth in PDC ranks - Dont ask me who is going to win it - I havent a clue -

I dunno if the thought ever occured to you (i have doubts any thought ever did), my moronic little friend: only one person at a time can win a tv major, so that does not automatically mean that the other top seeded/ranked players cannot handle pressure well. There have been countless TV matches in the last decade of PDC darts where people lost with an epic performance, simply because someone has to lose.
Basically the opposite of BDO darts: the vast majority of BDO televided matches in the last decade did not deserve to see a winner, but there will always be a winner even in the worst possible game (and by that another Lakeside classic in the books).

You are wrong bud - Wright is a known bottler - Cross hasnt impressed on TV - MVG talent should have seen him win more TV majors from what he has - His recent record in TV majors is poor - Anyone who wins deserves it - Whether that be in the PDC or BDO -Duterprat wrote:I dunno if the thought ever occured to you (i have doubts any thought ever did), my moronic little friend: only one person at a time can win a tv major, so that does not automatically mean that the other top seeded/ranked players cannot handle pressure well. I know bud - you're completely right - pdc has the best and most pressure-prove players - lakeside is done - no tv, not fans, no interest, only a matter of time before we have only one code to play in - should have thought for once in my life before talking nonsense and making a fool out of myself again -Duterprat wrote:I dunno if the thought ever occured to you (i have doubts any thought ever did), my moronic little friend: only one person at a time can win a tv major, so that does not automatically mean that the other top seeded/ranked players cannot handle pressure well. Updated Ally Pally qualification table, with first round prize money added to the provisional qualifiers for the TV events for the rest of the year. Over the next couple of days I'll figure out what my projected cut-off is for the ProTour.

In all fairness, we do not know the current situation with his Visa, and would be great if Mac could post us an update.foggs3355 wrote:I think Cory is not safe on 19 500 if can get visa sorted by September and he playes in last 6 players champs I think he get another 3 500 to make sure he in world pro and players championship finals
My gut feeling is that he will not be at Alexandra Palace, which is a great shame as he has the talent to do really well in the event, but that is not based on anything other than my own personal opinion.

So is the assumption that the top 32 will get a bye into the 2nds round?
Re: RE: Re: Re: 2019 PDC World Championship- Alexandra Palace, London-13th December 2018- 1st January 2019
Would be a fair assumption to make, doing it any other way would be insanity.Zapp Brannigan wrote:So is the assumption that the top 32 will get a bye into the 2nds round?
When the event was 48 men the top 16 entered at the Last 32 stage.

He’ll be there - if not via pro tour then via DPA order of Merit - they’ll get it sorted... I think.ssjsa wrote:In all fairness, we do not know the current situation with his Visa, and would be great if Mac could post us an update.foggs3355 wrote:I think Cory is not safe on 19 500 if can get visa sorted by September and he playes in last 6 players champs I think he get another 3 500 to make sure he in world pro and players championship finals

Yes. This has already been confirmed. Top 32 on the OOM into the 2nd round.Ginge wrote:Would be a fair assumption to make, doing it any other way would be insanity.Zapp Brannigan wrote:So is the assumption that the top 32 will get a bye into the 2nds round?

Top 32 on the Pro Tour OOM not already qualified via the main OOM go into the 1st round along with the 32 international qualifiers.
