Re: Road to BDO World Championship 2020
I am correct in assuming that when Delectable Des announced the dropping of sanctions for QS entrants that PDC Tour Card holders are still restricted from entering BDO events or playing at Lakeside if already qualified?
Re: Road to BDO World Championship 2020
I assume he just looked at the seasonal tables that are currently on the BDO website and removed the names of the "traitors"Moongoose McQueeen wrote:Oche, where did you get this?

Yet despite this set back he has won more tv events in the PDC then most of the 128 man field.

except that waites of a decade ago was capable of averaging more than 85 when he was invited to play pdc eventsoche balboa wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 10:06 pmGarry Murphy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 9:57 pm scott waites, 106th in line for a spot to join the last 128 in the pdc

He had to average almost a 100 to beat a player with bi polar that threw away the game
Where as the current waites and his 85 average is still good enough to reach a lakeside final.
Tell me , which part of my statement is not true

Re: Road to BDO World Championship 2020
So, does the Tour Card contract (or whatever it's called) specifically state that a player can't enter BDO ranked tournaments? Or is it to do with streaming/tv events? Or both?

It did used to be worded that you couldn’t play another world championship or try to qualify for one if you was a tour card holder
Think now it’s just a case of you can’t play an event that is filmed or streamed for anyone other than a pdc affiliate.
Be interesting if the tour card lads find out about a cat a or b event with no streaming and start to enter it. The bdo will love the extra entrants but the fanatics will hate that the points arnt going to the people actually trying to get to lakeside

We will see Personally I can’t see any of the Tour Card Holders playing in BDO events in this country. The only instances is Razma & Labanaukas entering Baltic opensZapp Brannigan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 6:32 amAddicks Fan wrote:So, does the Tour Card contract (or whatever it's called) specifically state that a player can't enter BDO ranked tournaments? he was 98th of those that did not get cards..so technically he was 106th on the list counting the 8 that got cards so you could say 234thDavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 7:00 amSo he was 95th in the list of those that DIDN'T get cards?Garry Murphy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 9:57 pm scott waites, 106th in line for a spot to join the last 128 in the pdc
