Another loss in a board final, playing OK, though not great.

Re: Players Championship Tour 2019
Lost throwing 100 average to the number 1 seed. Think it was circa 97 over his 3 matches.
Over the course of his fledgling PDC career has done very well, and ahead of expectations.
Only real disappointment thus far was losing his first match at the UK Open.

We'll call it a draw then as I think it was 2-1 to me yesterday.phil davies wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 4:05 pm2-0 to mephil davies wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 11:48 amDuzza v Cadby

Evans v Wade
Hope and expect Clayton to this from here now probably beating Clemens in the final.

If you look beyond the average, you'll see that he has some great legs, but misses big opportunities (both through bad set-ups and missed doubles) and doesn't win enough legs against the throw.ssjsa wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 3:41 pmLost throwing 100 average to the number 1 seed. Now he's a pro, and getting more regular competitive matches, he _might_improve, but on his current path he's going to be top 32, but outside the top 16.

White, Clayton, Clemens, Kanik, Wattimena, Monk, King, Justicia.
Same bloody 8 players, yet again.

You're right. He beat Kuivenhoven first before losing to Gavin Carlin in the 3rd Round.DavidB wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 6:04 pmssjsa wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 3:41 pmLost throwing 100 average to the number 1 seed. Think it was circa 97 over his 3 matches.

So probably a bit of a pay cut salary wise but with the potential for a massive payday, plenty of TV appearances at big events with mental crowds, he will probably take that knowing if it all duzzant work out he can go back in a few years and try a wolfie1205 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 4:17 pmIf you look beyond the average, you'll see that he has some great legs, but misses big opportunities (both through bad set-ups and missed doubles) and doesn't win enough legs against the throw.ssjsa wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 3:41 pmLost throwing 100 average to the number 1 seed. Re: Players Championship Tour 2019
Durrant has had a very good start to his PDC career... Its incredibly difficult to reach the Matchplay from QS and he should do that... I think he's started better than Gary Anderson did immediately after his switch and Anderson was disappointing for me in his early TV appearances in the PDC as well.. I don't think he will go on and match what Anderson did .. but it's been a good start for me
Re: Players Championship Tour 2019
Schindler 96,250, defending 3,000 (assuming Gibraltar 14/5/2017 is included).phil davies wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 4:44 pm Clemens is closing in on Schindler for German number 2 probably too big an ask to do it before the world cup though.
Clemens 75,250, defending 0 (2018 tour card)
So, Clemens may need to make up 18,000 (assuming that in catching Schindler he'd be ahead on countback).
Schindler has qualified for ET3
Clemens has qualfied for ET3 and ET4
