In all seriousness, he'll probably have a full year on the tour now, as long as he doesn't completely bomb the rest of the Challenge Tour season. I'd say he's roughly top 64 level, probably just inside. Gonna need to either top the CT OoM or win enough money to get into the top 64 at the end of the year to avoid having to go to Q-School, which is gonna be tough for him
Now that UK Challenge Tour players only have 2 Associate Member qualifying spots available for the European Tour events, that will be made even more difficult. Would need a Ratajski year to get a tour card.
Yeah, although you'd still fancy him to make his fair share of those if he gives it a proper go. I'd say he probably makes the Worlds and the Players now, doing a Ratajski is probably a bit beyond him
I know exactly what you were getting at We're partying like it's 2009.
For what it's worth, I think he'll do just fine in the PDC. He's a good finisher and his gamesmanship skills are second to none.
I just wouldn't get too carried away with his PDC performances when he's made four GSoD appearances and failed to reach the knockout stages even once. It's not that much better than Richie Rich or the Excellent Dude

No one is suggesting he would be top 16.

I can see him slightly better up the rankings than the journeyman Darren Webster & the likes within a few seasons if he sticks at it, also if he sticks to a job he has less pressure on him to perform as darts isn’t his sole income ala waites style
Wash your mouth out with soap and water
Journeyman ffs get a grip
For once have to agree with Demolition_fan.
Darren has been a Top 32 PDC player for some time, and but for his injuries last year would have finished the season inside the Top 16.
Darren Webster has been in the top 10 and a regular TV player with some very decent performances.... There are plenty of journeymen out there but Webster is certainly not one of them..

I agree.

I'm not suggesting he will or won't. He's a difficult opponent for all sorts of reasons. I just think some people get carried away at his winning of a CT event, which is the equivalent of Sergio Garcia getting excited at winning on the Challenge Tour in golf (although the way his career is going, perhaps that's not so far-fetched).
