Yup.
Van Gerwen looks absolutely finished.
Hills boosted MvG to win with most 180s and highest c/o to 2/1 which saved the day after Deta and Heta mucked up my other 2 bets.

Hint of the Hankey throwing action about Baggish.
(Moved this post from elsewhere due to my own stupidity)
1st 2 games tonight were utter sockwank, last 2 were quality. Baggish v Heta had the lot.

Mvg may have fucked himself by going home tonight
Re: PDC World Championship- December 2020- 1st January 2021- London
the stage was one dart away from being covered with the contents of mvg's rear end, if that double 10 had hit van-gutless would've collapsed in the fifth set, surely he can't get through another tourney avoiding all the top seeds?
the numbers looked good but there's no getting away from the fact he was a dart away from being bummed, nearly spilled my pint in the pub, trebles for show and all that...
london could be in tier 5 next week anyway, no foreigners and all that
Re: PDC World Championship- December 2020- 1st January 2021- London
Surely he hasnt, the game finished after 10pm, by the time he gets to an airport and through security its near midnight, cant be any scheduled flight that late. Unless he got a private jet of course.phil davies wrote:Has he actually flown home already? Can always take a car trip back over here anyway.

I knew Heta was in trouble the moment Oche tipped him to win easily!oche balboa wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 10:43 amHeta will easily beat Baggish. Joyce and Sedlacek could be decent as too Smith vs BarryGrim Reaper wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 10:19 amHeta vs Baggishoche balboa wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 10:08 am What stands out as a good match in the 1st round
It looks a bit meh
Waites vs Campbell
Joyce vs Sedlacek
Brown vs Meikle
Smith vs Barry
Quickly looking at the draw, I can't see MVG getting troubled until at least the Quarters where he could meet Dimitri.
Aspinall is Price's only real threat to making the semis (maybe De Sousa too).
The other two quarter's look a bit more competitive:
Snakebite has got a potentially horrible looking draw to retain. He could end up with Steve West in the L64, Clemens in the L32, Ratty or Whitlock in L16 then Wade in the Quarters, before possibly Price in the semis.
I like Damon but he has no-one to blame but himself for that loss. Moments of brilliance in there but too many missed doubles, just like against Merv King in the Players Championship. I don't know if there is something going on in his head, seeing the finishing line, or what. But if this continues into next year he could possibly do with seeing a sports psychologist.

Kleermaker out of tonight’s game as his planned replacement Josh Payne, his opponent Carolissen receives a bye.

No time to get anyone else in and tested before 7pm.

Payne will be gutted, being close to someone with it and having to self isolate just before you may be getting a call that would earn you at least 10 grand.

Yeah Sparky! Stop lying about the prize fund!

Could cost him a tour card in a years time if he has a similar year next year. Probably would have fancied his chances against an opponent making his debut, £15k for 2nd round losers if he had won tonight.
Given where Kleermaker was ranked as things stood this might have saved a tour card for the likes of Wilson, McGeeney etc
Re: PDC World Championship- December 2020- 1st January 2021- London
Kleermaker was in the RTL7 studio a couple of days ago.
