Still 2 spaces left for seniors who lose PDC cards.
Or maybe a senior who retires again after finding he can't handle the grind.
Or maybe a senior who retires after giving up on ever recovering his form.

Stupid that they've announced basically the entire field and the event isn't for another nine months. We don't have a date, a venue or a TV deal as of yet.

I know Modus aren't the smartest, but surely the play would have been to start by announcing Taylor, and then a new player every couple of weeks so that they'd continually stay in the news, building towards a time where they'd be able to sell tickets. Maybe get the player they announce to do a video interview which they can put on twitter to try and sell how much they're looking forward to it. Ideally, a few would be willing to play up how much they dislike Taylor to build up interest for a grudge match.

That way, people in the comments section will inevitably be complaining that the player they like hasn't been announced so far, which you could milk for six months. Save a couple of the bigger names for the end as well. It's not rocket science lads.

Didn’t realise this was 9 months away.

With the age and health of some of the participants there’s a chance at least 1 will have to pull out.

The rider for those should be good, mobility scooter, box of werther’s originals, crate of buckfast, 8 gram, 22 litres of white wine, 3 21 year old’s and a campervan.

Barney will be regretting regaining his Tour Card and missing out on this sumptuous buffet. :D

Unless they are planning to invite Darren Webster there aren't really any more likely candidates. Steve Beaton is the only vague possibility and he looks safe on the tour for at least one more year.

the winner of the seniors in snooker gets a wild card into the champion of champions ranking tourney later in the year, maybe the pdc will do something similar?

then again, if the pdc gets involved the winner of the seniors will probably be a teenager
