To be fair, if you read the rest of that Twitter convo there does seem to be medical-ish reasons for it, but nothing stopping him having them now.
Exactly, it's just shit luck that he can't get vaccinated in time.
There's always next year for him to underperform.

"I won't be forced to do anything in life" suggests he has no intention of getting vaccinated to me. If so, I hope they have a rule at Lakey that players must have it to play.

Has anyone explained to Parletti that the vaccine is free, and he won't have to crowd fund it or anything?

I agree, his problem is though is having the jabs are fast becoming a condition of going to foreign places (or at least getting into them relatively easily), which isnt particularly handy for an unjabbed darts player who wants to go to foreign places in order to play darts. Either he has the jabs, or he accepts his current position and stops fekkin moaning.

Bit harsh, just concerned and making sure that those with Down's Syndrome have had the protection they were promised.

Outside of places like here and the friends & family of the players who even knows this is on.

The demise of the BDO was covered even by the likes of the BBC. Seen no similar coverage to say the WDF has taken over from them.

Was amazed that Eurosport signed up for TV coverage. All I can presume is they think it’s valuable to have rights in the Netherlands and they got U.K. and rest of Europe for free. That will also give them access to the WDF Masters assuming that happens in 2022. They possibly wanted to lock in the Dutch coverage to get darts fans there as the PDC is moving to the newly launched Viaplay streaming next year. Although that may take off in a big way as will have F1 and they may have a local champion in Verstappen and he’s massively popular there.

Back to darts would have thought the new Senior WC was more attractive to TV given all the names taking part. However they may have though the BBC even though it’s only streaming builds their brand better than being on pay TV with Eurosport.

It’s not a bad start. Be interesting to see the difference after another couple of weeks.

The World Masters in the Netherlands should be the pinnacle of the WDF mens calendar now.

Have a Ladies World Championships over 3 days over a weekend at the Lakeside. Far more marketable than having 48 mediocre men competing also.

6% in a week - point of comparison, the final BDO Worlds at Lakeside sold a third of the availability in the first DAY...
