Anderson will play less. He wont do the Euro Tour and i bet he will fuck off some Pro Tour events tooGinge wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 10:55 amWhy on earth is it? Okay so Joe will be tired after 16 weeks of PL. He won't win any tournament untill the summer. Only thing he won was a non-ranked TV-tournament. Joe and expectations, it always ends the same.
Apart from that: really strange to give away a PL-ticket based on 1 tournament rather than overall on a season.
The only bizarre inclusion tbh is Anderson, hasnt he grumbled about wanting to play less? A bit hypocritical to accept this invite if so, not as if he will be fucked out after 9 weeks like in the old format, and he has to go abroad here too and we know he hates doing that these days.

Chisnall won’t break throw, Fallon is guaranteed a PL spot, Drupid is happy.oche balboa wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 11:17 amAnderson will play less. Re: Premier League 2022
PL is relatively early, and winning the Masters shows some form. He can hit big averages, and is a good fit for a weekly exhibition as his missing winning doubles will add to the excitement.Bram_1900 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 10:53 am Hahahaha Cullen in the PL.

Re: Premier League 2022
Don’t understand why they had it as a set 8, surely this format makes it easier to bring in more.
Could have had 12 players and the 4 first round losers miss out the next week
Or just had 9 or 10 and each person gets one week off

They'd have to change the way they sell tickets. They've not had the top players missing weeks.Zapp Brannigan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 1:49 pm Don’t understand why they had it as a set 8, surely this format makes it easier to bring in more.

Don't want all the Wade fans turning up only to find he's not playing that week.

The vast majority of tickets are sold for this before the line up is announced.1205 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 1:53 pmThey'd have to change the way they sell tickets. Re: Premier League 2022
So, same-ish old 8 players doing the same-ish old thing, nothing new to bother tuning in for before finals night.
Can't help but think Sky or Cazoo missed a trick with their wildcard to increase TV viewing figures, no good to them if people are tuning out.

Congratulations, I actually didn't believe there was someone more boring that Keir Starmer but you've risen to the task and got the job, the only job you've had in 20 years but hey ho.

Re: Premier League 2022
I'm not bothered as it means I along with many I imagine won't bother tuning in weekly now to see a surly wade play a disinterested gando again or a cullen on best behaviour quietly playing a pretendy shouty price again or clayton and smith zipping through another meaningless encounter followed by mvg trying to hold his arse in while wright tries out a set of 1950 cane darts - same old shit
that's what i meant by cazoo and sky missing a trick with their wildcards as you'd think they would go for something that would draw in some extra viewers or at least keep those getting bored with the same old shit, the hard core watchers will watch anyway
a mick calling me racist, hehehe
