Was on Sunday with Lynsey Hipgrave. Stated how the WDF always sanctioned the BDO to run the Worlds.
It has been explained, over and over, about twenty times. The WDF sanctioned the BDO to run their version of the World Championships. The BDO did so, in thir own name, but were run into the ground by buffoons. The WDF then decided to run the same championship but in their own name instead. Therefore this tournament has nothing to do with the BDO, or the way that previous versions were organised by the BDO, but it is nonetheless a continuation of the tournameent the WDF allowed the BDO to sanction on their behalf.
