Only started watching at 3-3, having just got in from work. Thought, despite not being of the highest quality, both an entertaining and exciting match.

McGeeney had his chance when sitting on D18 with 3 darts in hand, but in all fairness, must have been under so much pressure with that 100k prize on the line, and for me it would be grossly unfair of anyone to label his misses at bottling it.

Well done to both players. :DDDD:

Aye but you'd throw 200 times more darts.
And drink 10 times more beer.

But honestly, i wonder how people who are used to work 8 hours daily jobs can't imagine to play less than 3 hours of darts. If it is about the concentration: I e.g. never found 8 hours of playing very competitive chess (highest league in Germany) any harder than 8 hours of coding under pressure due to approaching a deadline.

Well done Duzza. Amused by the lack of "order" during the final. Uncle Barry's fault I assume.

Whole thing had a non league football type vibe to it. Jumpers for goalposts 80 averages.Real sport. No razzmatazz no real talent just old fashioned cloggers. Working mens club chicken in a basket flat lager. A taste of the 70s

If you thought the cross final was great, that was much, much better, fantastic stuff.

Turned over after the footie so seen second half of final.

It dont really matter if averages are 105 and 102 or 95 and 90 as long as the contest is close. Dont get me wrong a 60 or 70 average would be hard to watch.

Considering neither are full time proffesionals they can hold their heads up high. Thrilling drama, nail biting till the end.

Well done Daisy Mac and unlucky Mark McGeeney.
Thinking of one.

Takes a lot of energy to push a pawn around a chess board.
