Well the crowd are with Smith.

But a good 1st set for MVG.

All the pundits going for MVG.

In recent times its been all about who wins big tournaments hasn't it?

No doubt the goalposts are about to be moved due to some of the lads that have won tin pots.
The goalposts don't move. The Top 4 in the OOM qualify, the rest of the places are invites at the discretion of the PDC.

2 legs in.
It's the weak link in the PDC product. Now the chanting as MVG went for the double didn't stop him winning but if the PDC could some how sort out this negative aspects of the crowd then we would have near enough the perfect product.

1-1. Great set.

I know folk have said a sub standard tournament this year but what a great final.

And the best leg of darts ever? Hard to argue with that. Superb TV viewing.

Game on!

I dunno if anyone has ever hit a 9 when they have thrown first, with their opponent sat on 141 (or 144 etc) themselves?

Technically that would be a better leg as nobody has missed anything.

I've not ever seen a leg like that. Brilliant stuff.

Let him be. It's the first WC final he's watched this century. It's changed since 1993, to be fair to him.

The perfect product. Can't enjoy it most of the time. But perfect nonetheless.

Radio: over rated. That's yesterday's news.

2-2. Enjoyable game. A nice 90 c/o for MVG was good.

If it's been a poor tournament then this final will make up for it? Or not?

It's already making up for it. So yes.
