Re: Cadby v Durrant
Said on the other thread it all depends on the first games.
If Norris winds Cadby up I think his game will go to pot and Duzza will fancy his chances, but if he beats Norris and Duzza has a bad game against White (and or Norris afterwards) then confidence will play a big part and Id take Cadby
Depends on the crowd as well, If Cady doesnt play Duzza until last then theres a good chance the crowd will be all over him by that point.
If they play 2nd as losers play losers Im taking Duzza
2nd as winners vs winner Id go Cadby
Last match - all depends on how the group has panned out and if either is already out.

I've took Duzza to beat Wright then hoping Norris loses to Cadby, then Cadby to get in Duzzas' head completely.

Durrant was obviously underestimated by the bookies to begin with, which in turn led to the high price on offer. That value has rightly gone and with Duzza already qualified I wouldn't bet on this match now.

The bookies are clearly cluelesscallataxi wrote:So Corey Cadby is 8/11 favourite to beat lakeside champion Glen Durrant.
For what it’s worth I think Durrant is a decent bet as I would make him favourite myself.
However it does show how the strength of the bdo has been crippled if the best player isn’t even
favoured to beat a novice show pony not even hardened on the bdo or pdc tour.

They are not the only ones to underestimate the power of the BDO players. Nice to see the muppets lumping on the BDO player.Ecky Thump wrote:Durrant was obviously underestimated by the bookies to begin with, which in turn led to the high price on offer. Money's money. I won on Monty last night and need him to beat Cross for a nice tickle. No sentiments in punting

I think bookies fail to realise the gulf in class even within the BDO top 5 or 6.

It would be a tall order against Cross......but not impossible.craigmc wrote:Money's money. I won on Monty last night and need him to beat Cross for a nice tickle. No sentiments in punting

Re: Cadby v Durrant
both hit 100 averages so could be a little to close to call to make a bet personally.
Re: Cadby v Durrant
Think it was Beaton who put Cross out recently on tv? I'd say Monty is similar type of player and solid enough so has a fighting chance. If Cross plays to level of his MVG game then fair play to him.
